Day 1– Depart USA
Overnight flight to Barcelona.

Day 2 – Arrive Barcelona (2 nights)
Welcome to Spain! After check–in, time to relax and unwind before meeting your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Drink and dinner at our hotel. (Buffet breakfast Dinner) 

Hotel: Melia (2 nights)


Day 3 – Barcelona sightseeing and at Leisure
Our guided tour features the fantasies of Gaudi, the Ramblas, the Plaza Catalunya and a walk through the Gothic quarter. Our Tour Director will also show us a Hidden Treasure before we have time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 4 – Barcelona – high speed train – Madrid (2 nights)
 This morning we board the AVE high–speed train which takes us across the arid Aragon hills and passes by Zaragoza before arriving in Madrid, the capital city, situated at the geographical centre of the country. (Buffet breakfast)

Hotel: Tryp Atocha (2 nights)

Day 5 – Toledo excursion and Madrid sightseeing
Our guided tour of Toledo includes a visit to the synagogue, the Church of Santo Tome and a local steel workshop. Then we return to Madrid where our guided tour shows us the Cervantes Memorial, the Puerta del Sol and the magnificent Plaza Mayor. (Buffet breakfast)



Day 6 – Madrid – high–speed train – Seville (3 nights)
Our high–speed train takes us across the plains of La Mancha and via Cordoba to Seville. Here our guided tour features the Giralda Tower, Maria Luisa Park, Christopher Columbus’ tomb and the Jewish quarter. (Buffet breakfast Dinner) 

Hotel: Melia Lebreros (3 nights)


Day 7 – Granada excursion
We drive to Granada where we have a guided tour of the spectacular Moorish Alhambra Palace and the exotic water gardens of the Generalife. Later we drive back to our hotel in Seville. (Buffet breakfast)


Day 8 – Seville at leisure
Today we have a full day to explore Seville and to stroll through the tree–lined streets. Tonight we enjoy a Highlight Dinner in a typical restaurant, maybe enjoy a fiery Flamenco show afterwards. (Buffet breakfast Highlight Dinner)


Day 9 – Seville – by coach – lisbon (2)
We travel by coach through the Jabugo region of Spain to enter the Alentejo region of Portugal with its many cork forests. We continue from here to Lisbon. (Buffet breakfast)

Hotel: Corinthia (2 nights)

Day 10 – Lisbon sightseeing and at leisure
Our guided tour shows us the Monument to the Discoveries, the suspension bridge across the Tagus and the Belem Tower. Then time at leisure and tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together with our Tour Director. (Buffet breakfast Farewell Dinner)

Day 11 – Depart Lisbon
Today, time to bid farewell to new–found friends as we tranfer you to the airport for your return flight to America. (Buffet breakfast)


Free airport transfers:
Transfers on Day 2 at Barcelona Airport will operate at 09.30, 12.30 and 15.30. Return transfers on the last touring day will arrive at Lisbon Airport at 07.00 and 09:30.
