Day 1 – Depart USA
Overnight flight to Paris.

Day 2 – Arrive Paris (2 nights)
After check–in, there is free time. Tonight we meet our Tour Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Drink.

Day 3 – Paris sightseeing and at leisure
Today's sightseeing tour includes views of the Champs Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral on the Île de la Cité. We also ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower for awe–inspiring views over the whole city and then have time at leisure to relax or explore.
This evening, why not enjoy dinner in Montmartre or go out on the town and enjoy a cabaret show? (Buffet breakfast)


Day 4 – Paris – Champagne – Luxembourg
Today we travel east to visit a champagne cellar where we ride on a small railway to see how this delicious sparkling wine is made! We cross the World War I battlefields to arrive in Luxembourg where our orientation tour shows us the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Grand Ducal Palace and General Patton’s grave.

Day 5 – Luxembourg – Baccarat – Alsace wine country – Lucerne (2 nights)
We drive south into France and the Alsatian town of Nancy. Then we climb to Baccarat in the Vosges Mountains, renowned for its crystal glass, and on to the charming wine village of Riquewihr. Finally via Colmar we enter Switzerland at Basel on the Rhine and continue on to lakeside Lucerne. (Buffet breakfast Dinner)

Day 6 – Lucerne Sightseeing and at leisure
This morning an orientation tour of this medieval city shows us the Kappelbrücke, the wooden Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and of course the famous and poignant Lion Monument. Then free time to perhaps take a trip up a nearby mountain and enjoy a Swiss folklore show. (Buffet breakfast)


Day 7 – Lucerne – Liechtenstein – Innsbruck
First to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, with time to shop for collectors’ stamps. Then to Austria, through the Arlberg region to Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital. Orientation shows us the Olympic ski jump, the Wilten Basilica, the Golden Roof, and our Tour Director shows us a Hidden Treasure! (Buffet breakfast Dinner)

Day 8 – Innsbruck – Venice (LIDO)
Over the Brenner Pass to the Italian border and on to magical Venice. Enjoy an excellent introduction by private launch as we cruise along the Giudecca Canal to see St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs. Then we witness a demonstration of the ancient craft of glass–blowing before time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast Dinner)

Day 9 – Venice (lido) – Florence – Rome (2 nights)
Today's scenic drive takes us along the Autostrada del Sole and over the Apennine Mountains into Tuscany, where we stop in Florence for a walking tour with a local guide using our effective audio system, which highlights the Piazza Signoria, Duomo and Santa Croce. Later, we continue through the Umbrian countryside to Rome, the Eternal City, for two nights. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10 – Rome sightseeing and at leisure
Our guided sightseeing tour includes a visit to St. Peter's in the Vatican, and we cross the Tiber to see the Forum and the Colosseum, as well as the Circus Maximus, scene of 'Ben Hur' style chariot races. The remainder of your day is free to sightsee further, or simply relax at a café. (Buffet breakfast)


Day 11 – Rome – Pisa – Italian Riviera (Santa Margherita)
Today, we drive to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower with time to visit the marble cathedral and the baptistery. Later, on past Carrara to the Italian Riviera and the resort of Santa Margherita for the night. (Buffet breakfast Dinner)

Day 12 – IItalian Riviera (Santa Margherita) – Monaco – Nice
We drive past Genoa to the French border, and on to the old town of the Principality of Monaco to see the Royal Palace and the cathedral where Princess Grace is buried. Then to Nice, the capital of the Cote d’Azur, situated on the Bay of the Angels. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13 – Nice – Barcelona (2 nights)
We drive along the Riviera coast and pass by the Camargue region, renowned for its horses and flamingos. Later we reach Barcelona where we enjoy a Highlight Dinner tonight. (Buffet breakfast Highlight dinner) 

Hotel: Gran Catalonia (2 nights)


Day 14 – Barcelona sightseeing and at leisure
Our sightseeing tour reveals the art nouveau fantasies of Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, and shows us the Ramblas and the exclusive Paseo de Gracia Avenue. Our Tour Director shows us one more Hidden Treasure and tonight why not experience a fiery Flamenco show? (Buffet breakfast)


Day 15 – Barcelona – Zaragoza – Madrid (2 nights)
Our first stop this morning is at Zaragoza to see the impressive cathedral, known as El Pilar. Next we drive past the Guadarrama Mountains and on to Spain's capital, Madrid.  (Buffet breakfast) 

Hotel: Holiday Inn (2 nights)


Day 16 – Madrid sightseeing and at leisure
Today’s morning sightseeing tour shows us the Plaza de España, the Paseo de la Castellana and the Cibeles fountain. Later we enjoy a Farewell Dinner with our Tour Director and fellow travellers. (Buffet breakfast Farewell dinner)


Day 17 – Depart Madrid
Time to bid farewell to your Tour Director and new–found friends as our memorable tour comes to an end. (Buffet breakfast)


Free airport transfers
Transfers on Day 2 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport will operate at 09.00, 12.00 and 15.00. Passengers arriving later should make their own way to the first hotel.Return transfers on the last touring day will arrive at Madrid Airport at 07.00, 09.00 and 11.00.
